Action: Turn off technology, intentionally focus on one thing at a time, and create tech-free hours at home.
- Awareness
Challenge: The shallowness of information flow robs us of deep awareness and reflection.
Action: Create time and space for deeper thinking, evaluate your feelings, and seriously consider your life's direction.
- Agency:
Challenge: The rise of the "cancel culture" and heightened sensitivity erode people's sense of agency.
Action: Practice reframing situations, empower healthy responses, and recognize the power to choose one's reactions.
- Acceptance:
Challenge: Access to diverse perspectives makes accepting situations harder.
Action: Intentionally let life happen without constant control, adapt to circumstances, and find happiness in acceptance.
- Appreciation
Challenge: Overwhelm and distraction hinder our ability to appreciate the good in our lives.
Action: Cultivate intentional appreciation by recognizing daily blessings, sharing gratitude with others, and playing appreciation games with loved ones.
